Broomfield Park Trees

Trees in the Broomfield Park - what we are doing and plans for the future

Broomfield has a magnificent collection of trees.
Some are getting a bit past it and need to be replaced, but we are planting more trees to make a contribution to a greener world.

Long term Plan to Improve the Landscape:
  • engagement with the community, including schools and Enfield Climate Action Forum (EnCaf)
  • identify structural planting to replace trees lost to disease and storms
  • continue planting native hedgerow around the edge of the Park
  • identify scope for new tree planting
  • create a tree nursery
  • crowdfunding and grant application
