Improving Broomfield's plants and wildlife

A dedicated team of volunteers has made a huge difference to tree planting, horticulture and pond life in the last two years.

Feedback has been very positive on what these areas now look like.

Your support has had a big impact and we hope you can help again this spring.

What we want to do in the historic lakes
  • Educate the public about feeding wildfowl properly
  • Improve water quality in the lakes
  • Creating a safe environment for water birds
What we want to do next in horticulture
  1. Start weekend volunteering groups
  2. Buy plants for the historic walled gardens and other locations in the park.
