A dedicated team of volunteers has made a huge difference in the park in the last two years. Building on the wonderful achievements in the Conservatory, heroic efforts have gone into bringing life to the long border and other flower beds and we have planted lots of new trees after your earlier generous donations. Park users have given us lots of positive feedback on what these areas now look like.
We have made a start, but this spring we need your support ....to make a major horticultural investment and begin the transformation of other tired and neglected areas of the park's historic gardens.

Now - a sleeping giant
The 'Gazebo' border is a magnificent location behind Broomfield House.Set against a listed wall, but the planting has suffered long term neglect and needs revitalising.
The Future - with your support....
We can introduce more variety of colour, texture and form to the Gazebo border to give it interest throughout the year, awakening the potential of this setting.
Now - Two rhododendron borders are looking sad, despite the best efforts on volunteers to revive them. Rhododendrons and azaleas can bring magnificent spring colour and can be interesting foliage during the rest of the year, but we needs funds to buy new plants.
The Future - with your support
We can buy healthy new plants and revive the current stock, with underplanting to make more interesting beds. Mature plants don't come cheap though so your generous donations would help a lot towards our vision for the future of these beds.
