Great News !
Since December we have received some very generous donations:
- 5 mature Liquidambar trees for the avenue with all planting supplies from Herman Pobrati, a local landscape gardener (Acacia Gardens).
- 3 mature Liquidambar trees for the avenue from John Cogger in recognition of his grandmother, Matilda Southgate Biddall.
- 2 two-year old saplings from John Macfarlane, Weeping willow and Golden Alder for the Wetland border.
- 2 trees from Jill and Ray Bowden, two-year Weeping Willow sapling for the Wetland border and a five-year old Acer Negundo.
How can you help?
The kind offers above has started the ball rolling, but we need lots of our community to help by vbecoming tree donors. From £10 for a bare rooted tree to @250 for a mature tree, all donations will be warmly greeted. Check out the links on this page.
Become a Tree Donor

Donate a bare-rooted tree for our nurseryList Item 1
Donate £10 to enable us to plant bare-rooted trees in our tree nursery. We will nurture these and plant them out when they get bigger. Your name will be acknowledged on our website amongst the list of donors (or you can stay anonymous).

Donate a two year old saplingList Item 2
Donate £80 to enable us to plant two year old saplings . These will be well developed saplings which are planted with a protective cage and supports.
Your name will be acknowledged on our website amongst the list of donors (or you can stay anonymous).

Donate a mature treeList Item 3
Donate £250 to enable us to plant more mature trees . These will be about 5 - 10 years and have a substantial root ball ready for planting out in the park, supported by a strong cage and supports.
You will have a plaque on the tree with name/message and your name will be acknowledged on our website amongst the list of donors (or you can stay anonymous).
