Enfield Council's project, funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, ‘Unlocking Broomfield Park for the Community’, is now recruiting for staff to lead on the Community Engagement elements of the programme and to develop a project to memorialise Broomfield House, conserve and enhance the historic Broomfield Park and deliver interpretation and outreach to support local audiences.
It was announced at the beginning of the year that a total of around £500,000 has been made available, from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, to reinvigorate Broomfield Park, exploring its rich history and providing opportunities to engage with the park and its heritage. The project has been developed by Enfield Council in collaboration with the Friends of Broomfield Park, Broomfield House Trust, the Enfield Society, Southgate District Civic Voice, and councillors who helped steer and shape the application.
Details of the advertised role are available on the L B Enfield website
