Actions taken:
- Buy Green and Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle: purchase environmentally friendly products and increase waste reuse and recycling. The Greenery Community Café have led the way in this with their action to compost food waste, use take-out cups and napkins (which are all biodegradable).
- Composting on site (Growing Space and Community
Orchard), recycling wood and bricks in building projects.
- Maximising our own produce - apples and honey.
Next Steps:
- To adopt on our Action Plan the need to arrange a recycling waste collection service for the park.
