Social Impact of The Palmers Greenery Community Cafe

The Palmers Greenery is a volunteer-powered community cafe that reinvests profits into park-enhancing and wellbeing projects.

Since September 2022 we have:

  • Grown our partnership with LBE EQUALS Team to provide employability and skills training for adults with additional needs
  • Promoted greater environmental sustainability by incentivising cup reuse and adding 25p to the cost of disposable take away cups
  • Funded two community wellbeing projects
  • Published a Social Impact Report evaluating our contribution to local people, Broomfield Park and Palmers Green more widely
